The Johnson-Brock Athletic Club features sports such as baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball.
 
One of the largest events in Johnson is the annual Father's Day Chicken Barbeque. It is held every Father's Day weekend. The event features several activities such as Saturday night street dance, sand volleyball, a rubber chicken toss, an electric vehicle race and a little tuggers tractor pull, all within the delicious aroma of barbeque chicken.
